SIGNS OF PROGRESS Since 2011 we have offered 100% scholarships to gifted students to encourage them to join us. Until last year however, most candidates tended to look straight past us. Admission seekers tended to be mostly from the 45-55% category. Over the years, candidates seeking admission gradually changed with more and more from the high fifties and a few in the sixties. The trend began to improve significantly in 2013 and this year, the incoming batch in class XI is decidedly different. We now have about 13 students between 60-70%. Another 5 in the 70-80% bracket. None of them are under scholarship. It is noteworthy that these students have all qualified for seats in government schools but have instead chosen to pay and study with us. Another three have accepted our 100% scholarship in the above-80% bracket. These students form a significant proportion of the batch of just 135 students and this no doubt will raise the academic standards. Our current XII batch is not doing badly either with two students in the above-90% bracket and several others in the 80s. Another sign of progress is that a large number of students currently in class XI in other high schools have reserved seats with us in XII for 2015! We believe these are all signs of the good progress we have made. We promise even more in the years ahead!
