SIT DOWN South Africa!!! So disappointed at our public figures criticising Rolene for her VICTORY at Miss World. The globe is praising her, yet here at home we are being negative. If not an achievement then certainly her crown Is an acknowledgement of her beauty. And to the comment about how in a country where 80% of the population is Black, our face of beauty is white I say, REALLY?! Need we politicise and racialise everything?! Rolene is South African, thats what matters. And we have had Black Miss S.As walk the Miss world stage too. So? Can we all get off our negative vibes and CELEBRATE together just once? Beauty peagants are not reducing women to commodity and and and, can we not have fun anymore? Did we miss the beauty with a purpose theme? South Africans and your doomed negative opinions. Nxa!
