SIX MONTHS TO LIVE ... THEN LOVE ... THEN LIFE! DO YOU FEEL as though YOURE like a twig, floating down a river, to destinations unknown? It isn’t. You are part of a much bigger plan and godwinks are guiding you through every valley on a magnificent GPS … God’s Positioning System. This story will show you what I mean. Nicole’s HEALTH WAS GETTING WORSE and worse. Fatigue was wearing her down. Jaundice from the rare liver ailment was starting to show. A transplant was urgently needed but the donor requirements were arduous: same blood type, same sized liver, and the donor had to be “emotionally connected” … such as a family member. [OPTION to watch: hulu/watch/141332#i4,p4,d2] Unfortunately every candidate interviewed by Nicole’s doctors, was DISQUALIFIED. She was DOWN IN THE DUMPS when a friend invited her to a NASCAR event 900 miles from home …... she accepted. The excitement of the noisy engines seemed to immediately LIFT HER SPIRITS. She said so to the young man seated next to her. He introduced himself as Jess. “I KNOW YOU!” he said, when he heard her name. “I ride in the carpool with your mom everyday.” Now THAT was a GODWINK. What are the odds of connecting with someone who knows you ... at a stadium filled with 125,000 people? Jess knew, from talking with her mom, that Nicole was suffering from a serious health issue. They chatted on and on. And when they both got back home they CONTINUED THEIR CHATS BY PHONE. Soon they were dating; Jess fell head over heels, and ASKED NICOLE TO MARRY HIM. But, just before the wedding the doctors delivered TERRIBLE NEWS: without a transplant Nicole probably had SIX MONTHS to live. She might also have cancer of the liver. There was little hope. “How about testing me?” asked Jess. So they did. And guess what? He had the right blood type. He had the same sized liver. AND…because they were about to be married…they were “emotionally connected.” The wedding took place, and INSTEAD OF A HONEYMOON … Nicole and Jess went into the hospital. The first news was good: Nicole did NOT have cancer. And, in 8 hours doctors reported that both patients … husband and wife … WERE DOING JUST FINE. •••• As Nicole and Jess discovered, isn’t it comforting to know that YOU’RE always on His GPS? HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT their story? Do you have a comment? Or similar experience? Good wishes and godwinks. SQuire
