SIYA TO MISS PRE-SEASON Orlando Pirates will be without Siyabonga Sangweni when they start pre-season training later this month. The big defender missed the closing stages of the 2012/13 campaign with a knee injury, and will now spend a month with the physio before resuming training with his teammates. Sangweni tells Pirates’ website that he won’t rush his return to action. “I have been out for a long time and it has not been good. I love the game and I love being in the field of play, but I understand that this is one thing I must go through. I will take it easy and not rush myself to return to avoid reinjuring myself,” he says.
