SKY Group is hiring for a multinational company FO Transmission Engineer Job purpose: • The FO Transmission engineer (Front Office Team Member) is the MSIP appointed responsible for monitoring and first level troubleshooting of the Transmission network within Service Delivery Organisation at Ericsson Managed Operation towards Etisalat MISR Egypt. • FO Transmission engineer (Front Office Team Member) shall monitor all the Transmission alarms and do the first level troubleshooting within scope of contract and secure that all the alarms are properly handled whilst ensuring customer satisfaction. Job responsibilities: • Responsible for contributing to tools, process, communications optimizations relating to FO Transmission engineer activities at Front Office Team Member • Monitoring all 2G and 3G(Ericsson TN, Ericsson ADM, Ericsson SPO , ZTE) transmission Network with in the Etisalat Managed Service contract. • Classifying and accordingly escalating alarms to B.O VIA TT system • Classifying and accordingly dispatching Field Maintenance team alarms to B.O VIA WFM system. • Following up on FM and B.O teams on outages and down sites VIA TT system. • Responsible for sending out notification SMS’s for major outages and down sites • Performing first level troubleshooting with a KPI of solving 80% of the faults received on the Transmission Network with in Etisalat Managed Service. • Resetting hanging AMM ,RAUs & MMUs • Switching traffic to protection links in case link is 1+1 and there is a problem in the active link. • Identifying RAU & MMU type to recommend spare parts for FM in case of any faulty parts. • Software release alignment. • Make loops on E1s and MW. • Increasing transmitted power if needed • Microwave and Ethernet configuration and trouble shooting. • Managing new nodes on SEOM and IPTNMS. • Responsible for daily and Weekly health checks • Responsible for generating daily operational reports. Reports to: • Front Office Access leader Interface to: • Customer Etisalat MISR Incident Management counterparts, MSIP COO, Ericsson Head of Operations, Ericsson Manager NOC, Service Delivery Organisation sub units i.e. Problem Management, Change Management Manager Working hours • 12 hours shifts will apply 24/7 Required education and experience • Appropriate degree/diploma in Telecommunications. • At least 2 year of experience in the Telecom Industry. • Excellent knowledge of GSM & WCDMA. • Good knowledge of Ericsson ALV. • Excellent knowledge of TN , ADM and SPO • Excellent knowledge of SOEM monitoring tool. • Good knowledge of ZTE Net Numen U31. • Good knowledge of configuration tool IPT-NMS. • Good knowledge in Micro Soft Office. • Good communication skills. • Customer Relationship Management skills • Ability to think quickly and calmly when working under pressure. • Fluent in English Interested applicants are kindly requested to send their resume to cv@sky-grp quoting the job title in the subject (OFOV1109 -F).
