SM MASINAG RAPID CHESS TOURNAMENT November 9, 2014 (Sunday) ● 9:00 am-7:00 pm[size=150][/size] Event Hall, SM Masinag, AntipoloCity Tournament Guidelines • The tournament is open to all untitled, unrated and rated chess players with NCFP ratings of 2050 and below as of September 2014. • The tournament will be divided in two divisions; 1). 2050 Ratings and below – as of September 2014 NCFP ratings. 2). KIDDIES – 13 years old and below (born year 2001 onwards) (Maximum 2000 &Below ratings.) • The new FIDE laws of chess, which took effect on July 2014, particularly the new Laws on Rapid Chess, shall govern the tournament. (ground rules will be posted on-site) • The tournament format shall be seven or more rounds Swiss system, depending on the number of participants. • The time control shall be twenty minutes 20 minutes with 5 seconds Bronstein-time delay mode. • Registration Fee: 2050 & below division – P300.00 (inclusive of food stub worth P60.00.) Kiddies division - P250.00 (inclusive of food stub worth P60.00.)
