SMART, FUNNY, PUPPY-LIKE CUTIE NEEDS YOU! ~MIGUEL~ **Wants to wiggle his way into your heart..and home** A volunteer writes: Looking like hes wearing a mask getting ready for the next Venetian Ball, Miguel was more than ready to go out for a walk. Quietly waiting in his kennel as I unlatched his door we headed outside where he took care of business immediately indicating he may be house-trained. Miguel wears a stunning lush coat of oranges, tans and browns, and while a bit too thin in my opinion, his coat is clean and groomed. He pulls hard on the leash and will benefit from some leash training, but enjoys treats and with some treats as a reward should learn quickly. He already knows how to sit when asked, so smart Miguel will learn good leash manners when shown consistently. Off leash in the backyard he enjoyed exploring the pen, got all tail waggy and happy when a staff person he knows came over to say hello, and was excited to see other dogs pass our pen. Miguel is at that perfect age where hes done with the puppy crazies, and while happy to play, is ready to settle down and simply be happy in your company.
