SMILING FOR SMIDDY - MARKS BIRTHDAY GIFT FROM MPA Mark Sharky Smoothy is the founder of Smiling for Smiddy an organisation that was established to honour the memory of Adam Smiddy who passed away from melanoma aged just 26 in 2006. He is well known to the MPA community for his humility, grace, generosity and compassion - not to mention his awe inspiring fighting spirit! From humble beginnings, the Smiling for Smiddy team has grown in size, scope and impact. In the years since inception, Smiddy has raised over $4 million dollars for research and services for cancer patients, including ongoing support for Melanoma Patients Australia. Mark and the Smiling for Smiddy team are phenomenal and we at MPA are grateful for their efforts in helping to alleviate the impact of melanoma on all Australians.
