SMMS Cheerleaders - Remember our season practices begin next Tuesday, Sept. 3 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm at SMMS. We will practice every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at this time until our games begin at the end of October. Please remember the eligibility rule, you cannot have a cumulative grade of an "F" in any class. If you do, you will not be able to attend practices. If you miss 3 practices, you will be removed from the program. If you are failing or close to failing in a class, it is your responsibility to discuss with your teacher ways of bringing your grade up so you can participate. We will begin receiving a mid-week grade report at this time. This allows you time to improve your grade before our end of the week report. Please remember several of our cheerleaders are high honor roll and honor roll students. Please ask them for help if necessary. If you are asked for help by a teammate, please keep this confidential. We will bring the items we ordered from Omni Cheer next week and I will send a message to each parent regarding the balance due for the merchandise. Keep in mind, we will work with you on a payment plan if needed. Make sure you are stretching, doing conditioning, practicing your jumps and practicing the cheers we have learned so far. We look forward to seeing all of you again and to see the progress you have made since our camp. SMMS, WE ARE THE BEST!!!!
