SNOW FORECAST UPDATE: I promised to share new model data as I get them. We receive new model guidance several times a day, some hourly when the even gets closer. LIKE my page Ric Kearbey for important updates around the clock through the weekend. Three Things You Want To Know: 1) SNOW TOTALS GOING UP: This is still a minor snow event. However, snow totals are likely to be around an inch to maybe some areas of 2 inches. 2) SNOW TIMING: Todays models have moved the start of the snow up several hours. We could see snow during the afternoon with some minor daytime accumulations. The main accumulation period though is still expected to be Saturday evening. 3) COLDEST AIR YET: The coldest air of the current cold wave will come Sunday night and into early next week. Highs will only be in the 20s Monday and Tuesday.
