SO.... About 2 months ago we discovered that our mare (who suffers from SEVERE sleep deprivation and sleep terrors), was severely selenium and vitamin e deficient. When we realized this, we did not immediately feel that there would be a direct correlation between that and her sleep issues... HOWEVER, we are now hopeful! We are seeing signs of less and less falling issues, and more and more signs of laying down and HOPEFULLY sleeping at night!!!! I need to find someone willing to let us borrow stall cams to verify, but we are really excited! We have her on a 12/12 poulin grain, a protien bucket in her field FULL of vitamins/minerals, and added vitamin e....... I will keep you all posted!!!!
