SO FEARFUL...HE NEEDS ONE PERSON TO BELIEVE IN HIM. ★ LEO ★ My Animal ID # is A0980177 TBD 9/30 Meet Leo, a chunky, two-year-old pit bull mix who’s been hanging out at the Brooklyn shelter ever since he was abandoned by his previous owner. The first words that strike you when reading Leo’s bio is the word “inconsistent” behavior. The assessment goes on to say at one point that Leo was fearful and at another, that he was not fearful. How’s that for “inconsistency?” Truthfully Leo does show some erratic behavior, bouncing from a bubbly playful boy to a fear aggressive dog. The point is that we believe it’s quite evident that fear is Leo’s provocation. Because of his fear aggression, he’s been rated New Hope Only. Worse yet, they scheduled to kill him tomorrow. Do you know a dog-savvy person who would be willing to give Leo a chance? We are his only hope. It’s going to be a long night for Leo; please advocate for him before you go to bed. Thank you.
