SO!!! For those of you I have spoke to this morning about the Convoy of Hope mission outreach today or prior, here is the website for ALL the details. It will be here before we know it. convoyofhope.org/outreach/wichita/ If you have questions, please do not hesitate to privately message me;) This way people wont get bombarded by messages:) I hope that everyone that I just tagged in the prior Convoy Of Hope Outreach event received it. Sometimes it drops people off when I tag. This one I didnt tag as many because it wouldnt let me tag anymore people:(. For those of you that I have spoken to about Convoy of Hope, you know how much of a God thing this TRULY is because you were with me in the beginning when this was just me saying I dont know exactly what God is telling me, but it is kind of like a womans fair, but a God fair...rather, a Jesus fest! Since January God has been speaking to me, showing me that it is not about A church (a particular denomination or what have you) but about THE church coming together in UNITY. Gods body of believers coming together to share resources, get connected with other fellow believers who are like minded, and BE the church. I saw a vision of thousands of fellow believers in one area helping people get connected with the community from ALL the churches in the area just loving on each other. The only way I could explain it was that it was like a big block party. Well...unbeknownst to me, God was working in the background. This was His vision and was already in the works. It is actually happening on August 2nd! Convoy of Hope is an Christ centered organization designed to help churches and the community connect like never before. You are getting this message because you have either expressed some level of interest for serving others and might want to volunteer for this amazing God event. Others, I feel that you would be a wonderful prayer warrior for this mission outreach, or that you may know someone who is in need themselves and who would benefit from this event. Sometimes it can be hard trying to do it alone and survive in this world, but God did not call us to do it alone. There are certain people that God puts in our lives to help us out on this crazy journey called life and I have been seeing so many different churches that God has put in place for each different personality. I have felt for several months that God wants to unite His people and have experienced God moving in His body of believers like I have never seen before. From Aviator, to Central Christian, to Restored, to Eastminster, to Hope church, to West E Free, to Believers Tabernacle, to Life church, etc, I have witnessed an outpour of love and compassion to reach the city and make a difference in the lives of others. How can we do this? I believe It starts with Christ and He can work through us. Do you want to be open to what Christ can do through you? You may be like me and might say; Lord, sometimes I fail people, I may miss the mark, I am slow to speech, and I think God, how could you use ME? I mess up all the time. I have insecurities out the wazoo, I stumble on my words, and sometimes say the right things at the wrong time....and the wrong things at the wrong time. God said I choose you because you are willing and I see your heart. I sure am glad that He would rather choose the imperfect person who is willing, because that is how I got involved. We do not have to be perfect and have it all together to serve God, we just have to be willing. Please pray about what is in your heart and if you feel led to come along side us in this effort, whether it be in prayer, volunteering, you know of someone personally or a business that might be interested or just inviting a friend in need. If not on this day, and if not through this, then....when ever or how ever. What do you feel led to do to make a difference in your city where you live? Lets start a movement, rather, lets join the movement that God has started through His people:) We see so many bad things on the news daily. Lets start flooding the news with the good!
