SO many people we know are trying their hearts out on a voluntary basis to help this place that they love…a few examples are Samantha Blackham and all the people involved with the award winning Darlington Sunday Peoples Market, Sarah Oatley and friends with their stitch bombing, Voodoo Cafe by bringing something different to town and winning awards, all the talented photographers in town who post their images, the musicians who play in Buskers in Blackwellgate, our own attempt to bring music to the streets on some Sundays, places like The Kings Church who try to fee the hungry, I dont know if the Salvation Army and some of the following all quality as volunteers but I admire them too, Darlington Twentyfour Seven, Malcolm Singleton, Angela Ming, Louise A Maddison… Oh and so many others who deserve a mention…who do things for their town and townspeople just for the love of it!!! We deserve more say in things…because we ALL care.
