SO today at work i parked my truck and saw a yellow warbler sitting on the ground underneath of it...when i approached him he didnt move so being the animal lover i am i picked it up and proceeded to inspect it for broken limbs. After concluding he was not damaged i decided to let it go to see how well it could fly and the little sucker flew straight into my coat. My guess is he was probably blown out of a tree by the wind and had some shell shock and finally came to. I gently guided him into some low lying bushes that hopefully provided some protection from the wind and cold. What a way for nature to pay me back, FYI i am afraid of birds that can fly. Good thing it was little guy
