SO, today was a bit of a step back. No transfer because doc uncomfortable with her heart condition. Too much congestion. Also bit of a backslide on her swallowing. Was better yesterday, but today shes just being her stubbornass self and listening to nobody when it comes to how many sips and swallows she can damn well have. And then she hacks and caughs and spits and wretches. The threat being inhaling fluid and stuffs into her lungs. The resperation specialist guy looked her over and said shes good. At least shes breathing well and doesnt have lungfull of sherbet. She isnt eating much, and after an episode this morning, they restricted her fluids again, and today there was a lot of Im so thirsty and it sucked, but not as badly as the other day. I was able to give her some sips today, which she was able to hold down, but I think its only because I was able to squeeze on the straw and throttle the amount she was ACTUALLY getting versus what she thought she was. Didnt matter if it was a doc, nurse, me or aunt Diz telling her just one! shed attack that straw like... well. insert your own lewdness here please, Im just too tapped to think in clever mode right now. I don;t mean to say I wanna see lewd comments please...well, you all get me. Then there would be a big caughing fit, and what the hell ma, ONE! then a shrug and I was thirsty! Anyway. No knowing what its gonna bring, but heres to hoping tomorrow sucks less. Wont be able to show up there till afternoon as Aunt Diz has chruch, so at least I can ride some of this frustration off tonight and sleep in. Gnight all. Thank you all for all the love and support.
