SO, wanted to think about this a little before I posted. I wanted to say it clearly and not quite so passionately, (because we know how I can get). I did not get my way on the vote either. But I am not one to talk politics on FB, and I do not like to go off on here either. (just my personal choice). But one thing I KNOW I do, and its purely out of love, belief, inspiration and knowledge, is to advocate things I believe in. Good things, by good Maine people. My personal choice is to promote small businesses, artists and homeless animals. Yesterday I saw a lot of comments about small businesses failing, tourism dying out, people are moving out of the state, etc, etc. I have over 500 friends on FB, and a small handful of them actually share anything I post about local business or the Maine art scene. I never see some of these people share anything at all to help their fellow Mainer quite frankly. So if you care so much, why dont you do something about it? You have the power right here at your fingertips to make a small business grow, to help get a dog adopted, to feed a hungry child..... Im not saying you should promote what I promote, but what I am asking is that maybe you POST SOMETHING on here that would be helpful to a cause, a person... anything. I will continue to make my posters and to keep trying to drive people to shop locally. If only a handful of my friends share it, well then so be it. At least I know I am doing my best right now to work with what Ive got. I am going to share some of my stuff in the comments below. PLEASE SHARE WHAT YOU HAVE BELOW!! It could be ANYTHING that you believe in and want to help. A business, a school craft show, a cause... ANYTHING that proves that you stand by the concerns you made yesterday. PS... If I lose a few friends after this, I say, good nuff. ;)
