SOAPBOX TIME. What the hell is wrong with the NFL - its commissioner, Baltimore management and head coach, and Mr. Ray Rice? Ray punches his now wifes lights out, drags her around unconscious, and gets a whole two game suspension. What ... If he also pushed her down a flight of stairs, he gets four games off? If she was still in a coma, eight games on the sideline? Forget Rice, the Ravens, and the NFLs false bravado, I dont really give a damn about that. However, I am trying to influence and teach young teenage boys that laying your hands on a woman IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE. The music industry already (too often) demeans women and abusing them almost seems like a rite of passage. Now, a star RB beats the tar out of his lady and gets a slap on the wrist. Thanks for stepping up and taking the lead on this Commissioner Goodell. Your billion-dollar corporation just made a one cent decision and lost the chance to send a LOUD AND CLEAR message to Americas young men.
