SOCHI WINTER OLYMPICS I just would like to take a moment to say in her defense that NOT ALL of Russia and her people are anti gay. They are NOT ALL represented accurately by the people in power in the same way that so many of YOU do not believe you are represented accurately by the people in power in YOUR own countries. I would also like to state for the record that we toured in Russia extensively last year and had the most incredible, magical time. We met so many beautiful , generous and kind people, saw devastatingly beautiful sights and our visit could not have been more incredible. It is saddening me deeply to see the lack of respect being shown by many journalists with regards to the conditions over there. Instead of sniggering about it, they should be highlighting the problems that many Russians still face. That of crippling poverty and hardship. We send love and support to all our Russian fans who over a 20 year career have shown us nothing but sweetness and generosity. I felt that I had to get that off my chest. Finally.....to be clear.......I want to underline once again that the LGBT community has our FULL support and ALWAYS will.
