SOMALIA: Two bomb attacks kill security forces and minister of parliament Last Thursday, a suicide bomber attacked a convoy in Northern Somalia transporting Puntland Marine Forces, killing seven people and wounding 37 others. On Friday, legislator Feisal Warsame Mohamedwas assassinated in a car bomb planted under his seat. The explosion happened outside the Prime Ministers office in Mogadishu, the capital. Comment: No one has claimed responsibility for either incident, although al-Qaeda linked members of al-Shabab are suspected. Al-Shabab has struggled to regain its influence in the country since AU and Ethiopian forces weakened the terrorist groups presence in Southern Somalia last year.
