SOME BAD NEWS ON THE TURKEY... We finally get through to our turkey people this morning (the whole company was on holiday for a week...the whole company.....). The order is still in Italy (our first non-Irish meat as we flagged last month! sadly Ireland doesnt grow turkeys year round....but we kill 2,000,000 chickens a week! Go figure.). There was absolutely no reason given for this. Would we like to order it again? Yes please, thatd be nice. Any idea when it will come in? Well call you back on that one. And off we go again... weeeee!!! So they never actually fulfilled the order despite repeated calls following it to check bits and pieces, which is absolutely no surprise. Upon confrontation no apology is ever offered, you get the boss man talking to you like youre lucky to be dealing with them. Welcome to the Irish meat industry folks. So bottom line, terribly, terribly sorry but there will be a delay on the turkey. We cannot say when it will actually be in, it takes a few days and normally arrives Tuesdays. Sadly which Tuesday is out of our hands and out of our suppliers capabilities. Wed like to think next week. Once it comes in we will keep it fully stocked our side as we do our other products. I am going to contact all those who have ordered and are waiting. You guys have three options at this point, i) hang on until the turkey comes in next week, ii) substitute the turkey for another product, iii) cancel your order. Very annoyed.
