SCAQMD residents have an opportunity to help clean the air by exchanging an old, operable gasoline-powered lawn mower and purchasing, at a discounted rate, a new electric lawnmower. This year, you have five models to choose from, with your cost being from $100 to $250 depending on the model you choose. Pre-registration is required There will be four exchange locations scheduled. Visit the website aqmd.gov registration and location information. Riverside residents can get their hands on one of these non-polluting electric lawnmowers, Saturday, June 14th.
