SONG: DAD PRAYERS (BY: JENNIFER CHAPMAN) When I was a little child and daddy said to bow our heads to pray. Each time we set down at the table he always knew what to say. Thank God our Father from heaven above. For the food he gave to us to eat thru his great love. Chorus: Oh! How great is his love that lives within his soul. That always makes our family feel so whole. It seems dad prayers where answered because he always bowed his head. And taken us to church and hearing what was said. He always taught us to love the Lord with all our heart. Even from birth thru childhood he knew where to start. As times passed on thru the years I knew that my dad was special to me. Because he always prayed to God above for all of us to see. Chorus: Oh! How great is his love that lives within his soul. That always makes our family feel so whole. It seems dad prayers where answered because he always bowed his head. And taken us to church and hearing what was said. Now that some of our dads have passed on. I hope God love will still be in each of us to be shown. With our children who lives within in our home. So that when they go out in this world to roam. Chorus: Oh! And taken us to church and hearing what was said. (Acts 6:4) says: "But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word." Thank God for my dad who instilled in me prayer and go to church and the word of God. Today is prayer night meeting at church. Tell your dad that you love him and if your dad has passed on thank God for the blessing he gave to you thru your dad.
