SORRY FOR THIS BOOK but I feel like its necessary. I think its crucial for a generation raised in the age of technology to remember that youre not placed on this earth to please people. Youre placed to share God through the way you live your life. Use every tool you have to reach the lost: social media and technology included. Take your interests, your hobbies, your life and post about it, because thats who you are. Turn your life back towards God. Dont filter what you post if its from a spiritual place because of what people will think. Who cares if your selfie has nothing to do with that bible verse. If youre about your faith then that should leak into every aspect of your life even your social media. Who cares if God has nothing to do with a hobby or sport you enjoy. It thats who you draw your strength from and thats who gave you the talent to complete it, turn it back to Him. Use every tool to spread the word. Ever hobby to share your faith. Every pointless life experience to relay the spiritual aspects youre going through. We are in a weird society that almost wants to put people down and even other believers want to put out a persons fire and passion for life. Its disgusting to me. I feel like my sport and hobby of lifting is one many dont understand. Some would see a shirtless or workout picture and instantly assume one is using it for personal glory and that is mostly true. This industry is lost. This industry is self absorbed and sinful. And so was I when I started it. God has given me, a sinner, a new passion to spread His name with my actions. I do it because God has put on my heart to help others reach their fitness goals as well as their spiritual goals. Its my passion and my mission and has been a great tool for me to spread the good news and share my testimony with people around the world in this industry. Im sorry if you cant see that from the outside looking in but I am thankful Im not here to please you and that youre not the one judging my intentions when I die. Be who God created you to be. Let your passions express your faith and let His light shine through you even if others wont understand. When I die I will stand before the Father and I will say I used everything I was given and everything you blessed me with internally and outwardly to bring you and you alone the glory. For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10
