SOUTH AYRSHIRE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN -10th June You may not all know but the above plan has meant that many new developments may be springing up in a field near you and may bring us more customers but if these big developments put in lots of amenities it measn that town centre shops will lose out............again! . As a result of the plan a field in Symington is going to have over 100 houses on a site and all construction and other traffic will go up Main Street. Symington is a Conservation Village which should be protected and still people do need affordable homes. Do many of you come up to the Wheatsheaf in Symington ? If you do youll know how tight Main Street is at the top . Is it just me or do you think its logical to build a bypass relief road so Symington Main street doesnt get more dangerous than it already is and to look at what amenities you might need before just sticking up100 houses? Traders what do we think?
