SOUTH RIVER, NJ - On Saturday April 5th at 6:30pm, UWA Elite Pro Wrestling returns to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church (90 Leonardine Avenue, South River, NJ) with their Season 4 Kickoff Event. The event also marks the start of UWA Elites Defeat Cancer Initiative. UWA Elite is very excited to announce that we are going to be partnering with a lot of outstanding organizations in 2014 as part of our Defeat Cancer Initiative. says UWA Elite Founder Dave Swan, Each event this season we will partner with a different organization dedicated to helping fight cancer or help the lives or people who are fighting cancer. Our goal is to help raise awareness for these groups and of course help them raise much needed funds as well. The first group we are partnering with for the event on April 5th is Leos Legacy, The Lezcano Foundation. Leo Lezcano was diagnosed with a terminal form of brain cancer two weeks before his 18th birthday. A few short weeks after his 19th birthday, after numerous hospitalizations and seven more surgeries, Leo lost his battle with cancer. Remarkably, and always with a smile, during that same period, he graduated high school, started college, served as a volunteer on the First Aid Squad, and still managed to find time for family and friends. Leos Legacy, The Lezcano Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Leos sister Lucy in his memory. Leos Legacy serves to provide children in similar circumstances with the chance to attend a concert or see a live sporting event of their choice. UWA Elite Pro Wrestling is best known for its hit weekly Internet Television Show Action Zone which will kick off its forth season on April 5th in South River. We are extremely excited to be moving our television tapings to Holy Trinity in South River and to kick off our forth season of Action Zone on April 5th. added Swan, South River has always been an amazing city for us and we are looking forward to coming back every month for our Action Zone Tapings.
