All my SCC Family, You need to know that next year, unless we make some noise, they, the board will be wasting money by buying the contract out at the hotel using sponsor and OUR money to do that.... They want to move the conference to Fort Lauderdale Florida. Which is a horrible place to get to from most of the country. They the board think that we will be so excited to support the conference in a new hotel, in a hard to get to city, without easy ground transportation, easy walking to the mall or restaurants. they the board are not concerned about seminars or changing lives of Trans* people. They the board think we want to support a conference that concentrates on partys and entertainment. WE. MUST TELL THE board this is a DISASTER
