SP Liberty press release about alleged gun arrest at Loch Sheldrake barber shop which we broke on Uncensored yesterday. REMEMBER: All accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty.. On January 21, 2015 State Police at Liberty responded to a report of a menacing involving a handgun at the First Stop Barber Stop on Rte 52 in Loch Sheldrake. Upon their arrival, Troopers learned that Jacob Polick, age 32 of Neversink, the owner of the barber shop, had confronted a motorist and demanded that they move their vehicle from the front of the business. During the confrontation, Polick brandished a legally possessed .40 caliber handgun and threatened the occupants of the vehicle. Polick was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, a felony and Menacing 2nd Degree a misdemeanor. He was arraigned in the Town of Fallsburg Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $5000 cash bail.
