SPD NEWS – 76 YEAR OLD MAN ASSAULTED, WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!! On June 25, 2014, at 5:01 pm, Officers were called to a local area hospital on a report of a 76 year old man who had been assaulted. Officers determined the victim was a City of Stockton Parking Lot Attendant and the assault occurred earlier in the day around 2:30 pm at 24 North American Street (City of Stockton Parking Lot). The victim was then transported to a hospital in Modesto for further treatment. As of today, July 8th, the 76 year old man is still at the hospital in serious condition. Detectives do not have a motive for the crime or any suspect information. The Stockton Police Department is encouraging citizens to call if they have information pertaining to this investigation.
