You are asking, whether official crimes in the form of exceeding of authority will be amnestied? No, they won’t be. In yesterday’s law there is no such regulation. Because Law is aimed at peacefully solving an issue, not to increase the confrontation, - stated the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olena Lukash during a briefing for Heads of Diplomatic missions of foreign countries at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, as an answer to the question asked by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden Andreas von Beckerath who had mentioned the issue of impunity of illegal actions of law enforcement officers regarding protesters. Olena Lukash had also reminded that in order to guarantee the application of amnesty to the protesters, all premises of public ownership and local governments should be freed. - Of course, those individuals who are to be suspected in murder, torture, kidnapping, preventing journalists from carrying out their duties and causing serious bodily injuries that resulted in death will never be relieved from liability, - underlined the Minister of Justice.
