SPECIAL PRAYER FOR MARRIAGES: Lord, I pray for all marriages. I pray that the husband treats the wife with more respect, love, and kindness. Give him the understanding to see things from her point of view and live with her with understanding of her nature that his prayers may not be hindered, and he may find favor before You. I pray that the wife sees herself the way You see her a suitable helper, a companion, a friend, a nurturer to her husband. Give her the grace to submit as unto You. Teach her to love her husband and children and to see to it that she deeply respects and honour her husband. Let there be transparency, harmony, oneness, love, mutual respect and total forgiveness in every marriage. Do not allow us to keep a record of wrongs and offences but rather make us instruments of Your peace. Help us never to hold our spouse in contempt and disdain
