SPECTACULAR SELF-PORTRAIT OF VAN GOGH AT THE KEUKENHOF The Executive Board of the popular park, the Keukenhof planted the first of 7 MILLION TULIP BULBS for a flower mosaic of Vincent Van Gogh. The Netherlands commemorates the world famous Dutch post-impressionist painter throughout 2015. The Keukenhof will be marking the occasion by honoring Van Gogh with a flower mosaic based on a self-portrait by the artist. The mosaic will measure 250 square meters and is planted using different colors of tulips. In the coming weeks, the tulip variety Vincent Van Gogh will also be planted in the Walk of Fame. The works of Van Gogh will serve as a wonderful source of inspiration for the many flower shows in the Oranje Nassau Pavilion. During the Van Gogh Year the Keukenhof will be working closely together with the Van Gogh Museum and the Kröller-Müller Museum to organize many fun and inspiring events.
