SPEEDSKIM® Sponsors CITB Skillbuild – Plastering National Finals 2013 Following on from WorldSkills in Leipzig Speedskim® have been asked to sponsor the SkillBuild Plastering National Finals. As the UK’s biggest and longest running skills competition this year’s SkillBuild event is being held alongside the Skills Show at the NEC Birmingham. The SkillBuild competition is run by the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) with the endorsement of WorldSkills. Standards are incredibly high and the competition itself inspires many young people, transforming lives and changing the way we think about training and apprenticeships. Realising the advantages of Speedskim® as a great learning resource the CITB and British Gypsum have agreed to insert a special section into the competition module specifically for Speedskim® use. In this part of the module Plastering Finalists are able to deploy their Speedskim® to enhance the speed and quality of the finished work.
