SPHINX DAWN. EGYPT: The cosmic rebirth experience. Special Egypt Tour: 16 to 26 September 2013 I have chosen the dates of 16 to 26 September 2013 for very specific reasons related to the way the ancient Egyptians would have celebrated the cosmic rebirth of their land. This year (2013) the constellation of Leo will be rising for the first time (after 70 days in the Duat/underworld) on the 22 September DIRECTLY in the line of sight of the Great Sphinx. The event will take place at 6 a.m., that is a dawn. We are obtaining special permission to witness this cosmic moment from the vantage point of the Sphinx. In 1996 Graham Hancock and I wrote KEEPER OF GENESIS (Message of the Sphinx, in the USA) where we showed that the Giza necropolis (sacred site) was deliberately designed and aligned astronomically to mark the First Time/Zep Tepi in 10,500 BC when the constellation of Leo was in direct alignment with the Sphinx during the Spring Equinox, i.e. the AGE OF LEO. Now, after nearly a half-cycle of Precession, the event has shifted to the Autumn Equinox in the AGE OF AQUARIUS. (according to real sky observation, and not modern boundaries conventions).
