SPIRITUAL EMPHASIS MONTH DAY 22 SCRIPTURE: Exodus 15:23–25 Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24 And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” 25 So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet. There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them PRAYER POINTS: 1. Pray and forgive people who have brought pain into your life; ask God to dig out every root of bitterness in your soul; ask Him to heal you from the pain of falsehood, betrayal, and back-stabbing 2. In the name of Jesus, pray that the pain of your past will not repeat itself in your future; ask the Lord to open your eyes and help you walk in wisdom towards those who have caused you pain 3. Ask the Lord to help you not to repay evil for evil; pray that when you are tested, He will help you to leave vengeance to Him; ask Him to help you keep your heart pure from revenge 4. As the Lord sweetened the bitter waters of Marah for Israel, ask Him to sweeten your life with His goodness; pray that He will make your future sweeter than your past; thank God for sweet victory in Jesus’ name!
