SPLASH PAD SURVEY SEQUEL . . . Results are in. Even with my compelling logic about the potential cost of a free splash pad, respondents feel that having it outside the aquatic center and freely accessible to the public is preferable to connecting it to the paid facility. (In my opinion, the ideal would be to allow both groups to have access, but Im not sure this is feasible.) There were 88 responses. This was SOOO not a scientific poll. But, the responses to both the original survey and more sophisticated sequel were informative. I think this will be very helpful information for the committee that makes these final determinations. Many of the comments were very thoughtful and insightful. Thanks to all who took the time to respond!! (This informal survey was posted on the Wasatch Aquatics and Outdoor Recreation Initiative Facebook page and that of Wasatch County Politics. These two sites are in no way representative of the entire population of Wasatch County.)
