SPONSORED ZIP WIRE EVENT OCTOBER / NOVEMBER 2014 This event has been suggested by 2 of our younger supporters Garrin & Jess to help raise much needed funds to help feed the animals of Trallwm through the hard winter which is forecasted ahead of us. Some of our friends & colleagues have agreed to take part in riding / flying down the highest & longest zip wire (at 1400’) in Europe reaching speeds of about 90mph all in aid of Trallwm Farm Sanctuary. Personally I think my friends you all completely and utterly insane!! (Please Note: That all participants are paying to take part in this event out of their own money & both Garrin & Jess have been doing jobs to earn money to be able to pay for theirs. NO monies raised from this event will be attributed towards the cost to ride the zip wire or any other expenses incurred) youtube/watch?v=Eb3nccYn-KE Trallwm is a family run organisation who are privately funded by its supporters, they do a fabulous job rescuing, re-habilitating and re-homing horses & ponies amongst other animals on many occasions This year has seen some hefty vet’s bills & with the extremely wet winter last year & start to this year topped with a very dry summer has meant that the animals at the sanctuary have needed all year round hay & haylage in addition to the hard feed needed to aid their recovery from the years of neglect that most of these animals have endured. Trallwm desperately need funds to help pay for feed, hay / haylage not to mention on-going vet’s bills, farriers to mention just a few costs for the animals in their care whilst at the Sanctuary. Every penny counts no matter how small – please tick the gift aid box if you qualify so that we can claim an additional 25 pence for every £1 donated. Please dig deep to help the animals in our care. These 2 youngsters have put their heart & soul into helping the animals there and both have rescue animals in their care from there understandably Trallwm is a cause very close to both of their hearts. It’s not often we see youngsters so passionate about anything so please dig deep and support them to raise as much money as possible to help the residents at Trallwm Farm Sanctuary
