With its promise of being a gathering of women who live, eat, sleep, breathe, sweat and dream food and wine. A celebration of the region’s female culinary elite! SPOON features female farmers, vintners, spirit producers, butchers, chocolatiers, bakers and chefs along with their products – everything from meats, cheeses, vegetables, teas, as well as various savouries and sweets! Visiting guests will spend the afternoon talking with the multitude of amazing food purveyors, learning about their companies,their restaurants, their schools , their products and how they got where they are today. A great way to discover some new businesses,establish some new business leads and to meet the women behind these enterprises as well as purchase some incredibly tasty fare. Hosted by the NAC’s executive Chef, John Morris, Ottawas female Chefs and sous Chefs will lead cooking demonstrations & mini workshops, utilizing their unique ingredients and skills . It is also a chance to chat with other foodies and create some lasting friendships. Supporting local business women who all support tasty ,healthy, non-G.M.O food choices. This event is the first of its kind in the National Capital region and provides you with an incredible opportunity to showcase your products and business. We only have 43 booths available and they will quickly sell out.
