SPREADING OUR BEER SOAKED WINGS!! The hardest thing about starting a brewery in a certain location is that although its awesome for your locals who can swing by for a brew and a growler on their way home from work, getting beer to the rest of the country sucks... and this country of ours is bloody massive... and beer hates travelling. So our plan is simple... build more breweries!!! The YH Beer Farm in Metricup WA is now operational and smashing out some cracking booze, both core range and their own limited release/collab brews. Our original family member and part time naturalist Benny J has relocated to the West and when hes not helping build the brewery and tasting bar, hes convincing local venues to pour YH through its precious taps. He can be very convincing so be careful, dont make eye contact if youre not willing to buy pallets of beer. A few hours up the road in Perth/Freo, you may have noticed a vertically challenged pink haired tattooed gal with a funny accent wearing either a One Direction or YH t-shirt, dragging our kegs in and out of pubs. Thats Leala... shes rad... and has taken on the WA Purveyor of Booze gig. She comes to us from WA Craft Beer royalty (Little Creatures), the breeding ground for many in the industry. Shes pumped to be part of our team and the No1 go to for YH in WA... and were mega pumped to have her. Next is South Oz. Have you met Owen Wilson, Famous Actor/Brewer? He gets called Owen Wilson so much I dont even think he knows his real last name anymore. Having grown up in the City of Churches, he moved to Sydney several years ago while working in the hospo game, before wandering into the brewhouse to volunteer cleaning kegs. Next thing hes killing it as a brewer and helping plan the YH Beer Haus Adelaide (bloody overachiever!). Being the team player he is, OJ has moved back home and while he assists in the brewery build, hell be the the YH one stop shop for SA! Hell run tastings for you, sell it to you, deliver it, walk the dog... ok, maybe not the last one. Fingers crossed the YH Beer Haus Adelaide will be firing on all cylinders by mid 2015. So, to assist these fine human beings, if you have a bar/pub/bottle shop in WA or SA and want to stock some fine Young Henrys Beer or Cider, dont hesitate to get into contact with us via the website. We now have kegs and tinnies on hand and just aching to be poured down your customers throats. Or if youre just a fan of our booze and want us to hit up your local, shoot us the info and well be there with bells on! Thanks so much for all your support. You guys are the reason we get to do all this... and we couldnt be more stoked!
