SQUEEZING OUT THE CYCLISTS FROM THE ROaD SHOW Over the last few years we have rapidly squeezed out all space on our roads for the cyclists and, more or less, for the cycle rickshaws. This true about Jaipur and probably all other big cities and metros. even the traffic police department concentrates solely on regulating the automobile traffic. What has come about is no less than a heartless crime Look at any European or any other developed country which, quite to the contrary, not merely safeguards their space but also encourages people to make use of this mode of travel more and more. This practice is helpful in not only in checking pollution but also contributes to the fitness of the cyclist. Do WE think it is necessary to reverse the situation and how and when we can achieve it?
