SS Sahara June - 2013 Flashy Black and White Tobiano Filly by SS Stallone and out of Valentine’s April (xo)- Site Champion and High Point Filly at Pennock Point inspection at 3 months of age with an 8.4 score for movement and an 8.5 score for overall impression. SS Sahara June is one of the top Oldenburg fillies in the country for 2013 and as far as I know, the top pinto. This young filly had a lot to live up to as her four older sisters were all premium foals and two of them were the filly and high point Champions at their inspections in 2007 and 2010. She certainly rose to the occasion and did them proud by not only being the High Score Filly at her Oldenburg N.A. inspection, but also being the Site Champion of 17 foals, including the colts with an overall impression score of 8.5!!!! Two of her sisters have also achieved their PREMIUM MARE status and have also successfully completed their Mare Performance Test. One is showing successfully at second level in dressage, training third and the other is showing successfully at Novice Level Eventing, as well as in the dressage and jumper rings. They both qualified for the Region 3 Dressage Championships for Region 3. The other two who are 5 and 4 year olds are owned by the same family. They loved their first one so much, they bought another. The 5 year old “SS Schones Madchen” aka “Promise” was Champion at her first hunter show this month in Aiken, winning SIX blue ribbons in a field of 20 horses. The 4 year old has been started under saddle and will be in competition this year. Sahara is a sweet and loving filly that is a dream to handle. She is flashy and will be a definite FEI prospect. She will only be sold to a very special show home or she will be retained to replace her dam in our breeding program. $15,000.
