#SSU #POWERTAINMENT Drake has yet another reason to cue “Trophies.” The rapper trumped The Beatles’ Billboard Hot 100 record, thanks to his contribution to iLoveMakonnen’s “Tuesday.” The track entered in at No. 90 on the chart, marking Drizzy’s 72nd appearance. The Beatles’ record stood at 71 entries, placing Drake at the eight all-time spot as he now falls behind Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Jay Z, James Brown, Lil’ Wayne, Elvis and Glee. Drake’s Young Money boss Lil’ Wayne is the reigning rapper on the Hot 100, racking up 122 entries on the list. Jay Z comes in second with 82. The hit TV show Glee tops the all-time record with a whopping 207 entries. It seems likely that Drake will be coming for Weezy and Hov’s spots, as he’s managed to break The Beatles’ record in a fraction of the time. Sharing his accomplishment on Instagram, Mr. Graham kept his caption simple: “Bigger fish to fry my G #SOUND,” he wrote. --------------- Thirty-one years after its groundbreaking debut, Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” is getting a tune-up. The iconic nearly 14-minute short film/music video will be re-released in 3D next year. Headed up by the original director of “Thriller” John Landis, the upcoming project has survived a lengthy legal battle between Landis and the Jackson estate that began before Jackson’s passing in 2009. “That lawsuit went on for so many years, (but) we settled and they paid me finally,” Landis said told the NY Daily News. “And so, actually there is something happening with ‘Thriller.’ ” While the details of where and how the release will happen was not divulged, Landis hinted at it hitting the “big screen.” Another source also alluded to cinematic and Blu-ray releases. ---------------- Nothing says “we’re over” these days like a tattoo cover-up, and Nick Cannon’s “Mariah” ink is no more. News surfaced that Cannon’s marriage to Mariah Carey was on the rocks this summer. After reports trickled in that the Wild ‘N Out creator and his elusive chanteuse had been living separately, an unnamed source claimed that Cannon admitted that he and Carey had been “fighting a lot,” and that he had been “living out of hotels.” Cannon later took to Twitter to clear the air: But while his love for Carey will never change, Cannon’s giant back tattoo has gotten quite the makeover. During a recent club appearance at Hollywood’s Playhouse, Cannon went topless during his DJ set, revealing a massive cover-up where the name “Mariah” was once etched:
