ST. PAUL A.M.E. had a guest speaker Pastor Holt from Bethel A.M.E. Church ,Pittsburgh. It has been a while since Ive seen our congregation shouting to the hills. Her message Are you willing to work for Christ? There are no short cuts, little things count, you may feel discouraged, someone might turn a deaf ear to everything you say, you may receive no recognition, no glamour, no cudos or thank you and no appreciation for the things you do. God is not to be mocked! He knows why you do what you do. You may be physically exhausted but the benefits are worthy for you spiritually reap what you spiritually sow. Smile and check your attitude and arrogance. We may be the only example of Jesus people might see which may be their blessing or their curse. Say a good word, smile, listen to people, be prepared 24 hours a day not when you feel like it or when there is something in it for you. Walking, talking, singing, touching, praising, praying, presenting, lifting ,supporting (no matter which unit of any church is involved or just one person) God will use you for what you can do and for who you happen to be! GOD is not finished with you until you are in transition to your grave! Lesson from Galatians Chapter 6 : 6-10 Thank you Pastor Holt!.
