START CARING, INDIA is not about what happens behind the comfort of our closed doors of our HOME. I have a comfortable life, I can even sustain my standard of living with inflation, corruption etc. BUT Am I so blind that I can’t see my maid’s children not being able to get equal education as my kid, what was that kid’s fault? Am I so blind that while I sleep in the comfort of my bed, I see an old man dying of cold on the footpath? Am I so blind that while I eat my heart out, while my brothers and sisters go to bed hungry? Am I so blind that while other’s daughters and wife get raped, I just make it a topic of a discussion and feel blessed I am living securely? Am I so blind that while I own comfortable homes, while tribals are being thrown out of hutments/mud houses/land? Am I so blind that I have assets, but India’s lands & resources are being sold to the highest bidder? When do we start caring? I do not know about you, but I have a CONSCIENCE and I cannot be BLIND anymore.
