START STORMING THE PRO-TPP FORCES NOW! - AFTER 10:15 a.m. - Join us in tweeting about the new AFL-CIO report: NAFTA at 20. The report (which will be available online after 10:15 a.m. so dont tweet before then) compiles and analyzes existing evidence to evaluate the impact of NAFTA on the working people of the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. It concludes that while NAFTA may have increased trade flows and corporate economic and political power, it also depressed wages, exacerbated inequality, and threatened the public interest and democratic governance. The report concludes with specific recommendations for improving our trade model so that is raises wages and promotes shared prosperity. - STARTING AT NOON - Join us in support of the CWA Welcome to Twitter Party for US Trade Rep Michael Froman, who joined Twitter last Friday.
