STATEMENT BY HON. NIMI WALSON-JACK ON HIS RECEIPT OF PDP GOVERNORSHIP EXPRESSION OF INTERESTS/ NOMINATION FORMS I am seeking the nomination of our great Party, the PDP, to run for the office of Governor of Rivers State to provide direction and political leadership for Rivers State. I am best suited to reclaim the PDP mandate and return Rivers State to mainstream politics. My vision is to build a more democratic and civil society where political rights and responsibilities are much more broadly distributed. It would be a State where education, talent and ingenuity would define the character of our society. Our mission is to create a culture of servant leadership among our people, a better educated workforce and a stronger economy that promotes the prosperity of our people. I promise to consolidate on the gains of the past, synchronise the simultaneous development of physical and human capital, and commit to peaceful coexistence of the people and residents of Rivers State.
