STEPHEN KING BELIEVED THIS TO BE THE PINNACLE OF MICHAELS DANCING - TopicsExpress

STEPHEN KING BELIEVED THIS TO BE THE PINNACLE OF MICHAELS DANCING PORTFOLIO OVER HIS ENTIRE CAREER. Thats saying a lot. I was equally as impressed the first Id seen this after Michael passed. I would, having sat and considered closely all his offerings, count this as top five or three, or if they all could be tied for first. This can certainly hold its own. THE INTENT WAS ALSO FOR THIS TO BE THE SEQUEL TO THRILLER before relations with Sony became contentious. “But then fall comes, kicking summer out on its treacherous ass as it always does one day sometime after the midpoint of September, it stays awhile like an old friend that you have missed. It settles in the way an old friend will settle into your favorite chair and take out his pipe and light it and then fill the afternoon with stories of places he has been and things he has done since last he saw you.” ― Stephen King, Salems Lot via Tin House, Happy September 1st! Stephen King was the one who wrote the original script for GHOSTS, via Michaels invitation. Ghosts is an MJ short film, and therein lay a very deep meaning in it, one moment, when Michael dissipates, into sand and almost air, was hard to watch after his passing, a foretelling. The video took an initial three weeks, multi-hour days, multi, each day, including weekends, I read, and much money, the short film had a cut that was to be Thrillers sequel, incredible, truly. It was this cut that caught the attention of Stephen King, 2BAD, this is not the song most mistake it with, BAD, this is an angry song, and its powerful, and Michael matches the dancing in tone. King said he believed it to be the best/most powerful dancing of Michaels entire life/career. I have to agree, but then I recall the cut piece from Black or White......the political commentary, that was incredible, and a few other moments, including the initial BAD where Scorsese compared Michaels dancing to quicksilver, as Martin was taken aback. But this is certainly top five or top three. Also, cessation of filming ensued, for a multiplicity of reasons, one was contention with Sony on contracts and the such; from my research, Michael funded the filming and taping. When it resumed, much later, King said that his script was unrecognizable...but he maintained Michaels dancing in 2BAD was the pinnacle of his dance portfolio. Side fact: Michael also plays the heavyset white man, who is understood to be Tom Sneddon https://youtube/watch?v=8DPt1qH0h_4
