STK Orchid Nursery, Phanomthuan, Kanchanaburi STK orchid nursery is located in Phanomthuan, Kanchanaburi, originally developed from 1999 about 2 acres (5 rais, one rais is about 1600 square meters) and expanded another 2 times in 2003 and 2007 consecutively and now totally 20 rais of orchid nursery area. STK orchid nursery contain mostly with 600,000 plants Cattleya plants in various varieties, 100,000 plants of Rhynchostylis gigantea (Cultivated species, 50,000 plants each of Mokara, Renanthera, and Dendrobium hybrids, seedlings to blooming size with various orchid species and exotic ferns. Moreover, STK enjoy collecting many varieties of ornamental palm trees and some variegated leaves plants with landscaped garden that Agro –Tourists will see how we use those one million plants to stay with our tropical climate. Agro -Tourists can will enjoy orchid practice at our nursery with STK, the owner that have experience in exporting and growing various orchid and ornamental plants more than 10 years. All visitors can practice growing orchid plants including de-flasking, potting, repotting, dividing, cutting and hybridizing various orchid plants at STK orchid nursery. Agro-Tourism Program at STK Orchid Nursery, Phanomthuan, Kanchanaburi Our Agro-Tourism Program need 2 and a half hours to complete all activities as details below: 1. Agro –Tourists will understand orchid business in Thailand shared by STK. 2. Agro –Tourists can practice growing orchid plants including de-flasking, potting, repotting, dividing, cutting and hybridizing various orchid plants at STK orchid nursery. Fees for Agro-Tourism Program at STK Orchid Nursery Only 500 Baht person and need at least 2 persons to start the program. Those fees included 1. All soft drink, water and instant hot coffee (Self-service). 2. One orchid plant in each group of orchid as availability for self-practice. Rules at STK orchid nursery All Agro-Tourists have to follow our rules below: 1. Please enjoy our orchid nursery with STK’s staff only, do not walk alone. 2. Children and elder people should be taken by a responsible member of family and please avoid all activities that may cause any accidents. 3. Please do not touch any part of orchid flowers or plants. 4. Please eat or drink at SALA-Thai (Utility Hall) only. 5. Please do not smoking when walking in orchid nursery, however, you please smoke at smoking area only.
