STOP CREATING MONSTERS IN NIGERIA “Once upon a time, some of Nigerian states were outbidding one another – rolling out religious laws, creating spiritual police, and faith councils everywhere. I knew they were fashioning the kinds of monsters they wont be able to tame, because I didnt remember any part of the world that became overzealous about religion and came out of it unscathed. Now, Nigeria has real stories to tell the world about religious extremism. Overzealousness is NOT the same as godliness, just as being religious is not the same as doing Gods will. Faith should be an affair between a group of believers and their God. The scheming clerics and politicians should stop exploiting religion for personal gains.” – DELE AJAJA
