STOP PRESS Its not long now until the dinner so if you still havent got your ticket(s) please dont delay. To make sure everything runs smoothly on the night the venue will need to know how many people are attending and also seating plans need to be prepared. Quite a few people have indicated that they are going but have not bought tickets. If you do want to go and need to get tickets it would be very much appreciated if you could do so by the end of October. You can pick up tickets in Mick Harts shop, (details below). Please be aware that Mick cannot take card payments for tickets so you will need to take along a cheque made payable to Beeston Road Club or cash. No Wonga, no ticket. This years club dinner and prize presentation will be held on the 15th November at Beeston Fields Golf Club, the same venue as last year. Mick Hart has tickets for sale in his shop open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Tickets are £25, same as last year. Pro cyclist Dean Downing has been booked and will do a Q&A session. As usual donations of raffle prizes will be very much appreciated. Dress code is formal and this can be black tie down to smart shirt and trousers for men and dress, smart trousers for women. Its a 6,30 for 7pm start; and a DJ has been booked for you to boogie on down, back up again and round and round a bit. Children over 12 are ok to attend and will be charged the full ticket price. Under 12s £18.75. Menu is minestrone soup; chicken with red pepper mousse with mushroom and white wine sauce, Steamed sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce. Vegetarian options and special dietary requirements will be provided. Be there or be square.
